Bio:
Looking forward to the 2012-2013 season, I bring 11 years of experience in player development to the OJS. Following a Junior career in the CCHL, I began working in skill development traveling throughout North America with the Turcotte Stick Handling Hockey School. In 2010 after having completed my studies at the University of Ottawa, I headed to Western Canada, broadening my skills in player development, and apprenticing as a skating coach in Edmonton, Alberta. This training allowed me to study in depth the biomechanics and physics of both the skating stride and puck control movements. I take pride in imparting this knowledge to not only OJS players but to players at the grass roots level in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. As part of the OJS coaching staff I take pride in promoting, family, education, and a devotion to hockey, allowing us to work towards having our players dreams come to fruition.
