Junior A Prospects Camp
Supported and run by the Ottawa Junior 'A' Senators

Canterbury Prospect Hockey Camp – Held this year at the James Durrell Rec Centre August 3-5th.  Attendees will have the opportunity to showcase their talents to CJHL Coaches and Scouts and will vie for an invitation to the Ottawa Junior “A” Senators main camp held in September.

Cost this year is only $195. and includes a Prospect Camp Jersey. Get your application in early to avoid disappointment.  Last Years event was “Sold Out”. CLICK HERE for a registration form.

    Ottawa Junior Senators AAA Hockey Camp for Bantam aged players. A ten week, 1 1/2 hours per session, high-intensity programme. Only 30 spots available. Cost is only $325. All Sessions will be held at the Carleton University Ice House.

Robinson Division All Stars...
Five Ottawa Junior Sens Make the team!

Congratulations to our five Junior Sens Players who have been named to the Robinson Division All Stars:

Goalie Scott Greenham

Defensemen: Mark Smith & Adam Marriner

Forwards: Dan Sullivan and Joey Manley

This traditional annual game between the Robinson and Yzerman Division All Stars will be held January 14th, 2007 at the Sensplex.  Game times are at 4:00 and 6:45 p.m. Come see the best the CJHL has to offer!  The Ottawa Junior A Senators would like to congratulate all the selected players.

Trade Deadline...
Ottawa Junior 'A' Senators shake up roster...

The Ottawa Junior “A” Senators Hockey Club are proud to announce and would like to welcome the following players who were acquired prior to the January 10th trade deadline. 20 year olds, All Star 6’3”  Left Winger Jamie Cavanagh and Defenseman David Presz both previously of the Nepean Raiders Hockey Club; All Star 20 year old 6’3” Defenseman Nicholas Lortie previous of the Cumberland Grads; and 6’2” Defenseman Hubert Genereux from Trois Rivieres, Quebec. 

The Ottawa Junior “A” Senators Hockey Club would also like to wish Defenseman Adam Marriner the best in his new role with the Nepean Raiders Hockey Club.

CJAHL ANNOUNCES THIS SEASON’S FIRST
INSTALLMENT OF THE TOP 15 RANKINGS

The Canadian Junior A Hockey League today announced its Top 15 rankings for the first time in the 2006 / 07 hockey season. 

The time period considered for the first instalment of the rankings is from the start of the hockey season, until Saturday, September 30th. Future Top 15 rankings will be a weekly update, and can be found by clicking on the CJAHL website.

The rankings are based upon a variety of factors which includes the league in which the teams belong to, their winning percentage, their win-loss record, total points accumulated, and their goals for versus goals against ratio, amongst other factors.

Congratulations to Robert Bateman Public School...
"Congratulations to Robert Bateman Public School for showing the greatest amount of school spirit in aid of the Ottawa Food Bank! For the third year in a row students from area schools were invited to donate a non-perishable food item in lieu of admission at any Regular Season Home Game. Robert Bateman Public School, for the second year in a row, will receive a donation of $300 towards the purchase of new books for their library. Special thanks to Mr. Duke and Madame Doucette for their efforts! Way to go Robert Bateman! "
