Guy is a native of Cornwall, Ontario and played in the CJHL on both the 1979-1980 CJHL Champion Hawkesbury Hawks and the 1981-1982 CJHL Champion Pembroke Lumber Kings. Over the past 11 years he has accumulated a number of coaching accolades: Head Coach of the 2007-2008 OEMHL AAA Regular Season and Playoff Champion Minor
Bantam “Wild”; Coach of the 2005-2006 CMHA’s UCMHL Bantam “B” Regular Season and Playoff Champion “Royals” and was named CMHA Coach of the Year that same year. Guy also coached for the SVMHA “AA” Rapids organization for three years, is an active instructor for the Chevrolet Safe and Fun Hockey Program, and has been involved with the CMHA Squirt/Tyke IP program for the past six years and has been the “Head on-ice” instructor for four years. Guy is currently coaching the Ottawa Phantom 94’s Spring AAA Team.
Guy currently lives in Cornwall with his wife Carol-Ann and his 2 boys, Codie and Connor, who have been involved in hockey since 1996. |
