FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ottawa, ON – The National Hockey League Central Scouting announced Tuesday its initial Players to Watch List as a prelude to the 2021 NHL Draft, enlisted was former Jr. Senator and current Ottawa 67’s defenceman Ranvir Gill-Shane who spent the 2019-20 campaign with OJS, Kanata, and the 67’s.

Players on the list are rated on an A-to-C scale with A-rated prospects that are considered potential first-round picks.

B-rated players are projected to be selected in the second or third round while C-rated prospects are projected to go in rounds 3 through 6.

There is also a limited-viewing rating for players of interest who have yet to be scouted extensively.

Gill-Shane was listed as a C skater on the list playing in 36 games with OJS tallying 7 goals and 12 assists prior to a deadline trade to Kanata.

The Kanata native was selected 83rd overall in the 2019 OHL draft by the hometown Ottawa 67’s and later signed on December 12th.
