Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for December, with Ottawa Jr. Senators netminder Rorke Applebee taking home Goalie of the Month honours.
The 2003-born Chateauguay, QC native went a perfect 5-0-0-0 in December, leading all goaltenders with a .950 SV% and 1.58 GAA while also picking up 1 shutout.
On the season, Applebee sports a 13-2-2-0 record with a .935 SV%, 2.08 GAA, and 1 shutout.
Applebee joins fellow netminder Connor Shibley, who took home the same honour in October.
Also, forwards Zachary Losier and Antoine Gauthier were named honourable mentions for Rookie of the Month
