CCM Performers of the Month Announced for January

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League us pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for January.

Ottawa Jr Senators forward Kyle Jackson has earned the Player of the Month nod after a sensational month of hockey. Brockville Braves goaltender Antoine Bourdeau is the Goaltender of the Month, while Rockland Nationals forward Simon Labelle brings home Rookie of the Month honours.

Player of the Month | Kyle Jackson
The 2002 born rookie forward had a dominant month of hockey for the Jr Sens as he totaled 15 points (6G, 9A) in just 8 games of action. The Ottawa, ON native leads all CCHL rookies in Goals (16), Assists (23), and Points (39). He has also posted 3 points (2G, 1A) in 9 games with the OHL’s North Bay Battalion.

Goaltender of the Month | Antoine Bourdeau
The 2000 born Montreal, QC native was a big reason for the Braves success in January while starting goaltender Liam Soulière recovered from an injury as he went 8-1-0 in 9 starts, posting a 1.83 GAA, .937 SV% and 1 Shutout. On the season, Bourdeau is 13-7-1 with a 2.43 GAA and .920 SV%.

Rookie of the Month | Simon Labelle
The 2002 born Ottawa, ON native totaled 5 points (1G, 4A) in 5 games of action for the Nationals this past month. In 34 games this season, Labelle sits 8th overall in the CCHL Rookie scoring-race with 22 points (8G, 14A).
