Jr Senators Complete a Pair of Trades Ahead of 2025-26 Season

After a quiet summer on the trade market, the Junior Senators get one player in and one player out ahead of training camp.

The Jr Senators sent Lucas Bremshey-Guillemette to the Campbellton Tigers of the Maritime Junior Hockey League for a player development fee. The 19-year-old recorded 13 points in 36 games last season with the Jr Sens. The team thanks him for everything he’s done here in Ottawa and wish him the best out east.

They also acquired 18-year-old Forward Henry Brady last Wednesday from the Caledon Admirals of the Ontario Junior Hockey League for a fee. The 5’11” 165 lbs Toronto native recorded 14 goals and five assists in his rookie season last year for Caledon.

“Henry had been on our radar for some time,” said Jr Senators General Manager Patrick McCallen, “and when we learned he was available, we began trade talks immediately.”

He described Brady as a “scoring threat on the penalty kill” that uses a mix of both speed and skill to play a complete 200-foot game. After all, he did lead Caledon in short-handed goals last season.

Brady agrees with his new GM and describes himself as a “fast and competitive 200-foot player.”

“I love playing in the areas that a lot of guys don’t want to play in,” he said. “If the team needs a guy to play like that, be the defensive guy, I can be that guy, while still producing offensively.”

Outside of hockey, Brady said he enjoys fishing and live music events, two things he’ll get to explore in the capital once he gets here for training camp in early September.
