Jr Senators Seeking Game Day Operations Leader

Overview:
We are seeking an organized, energetic, and reliable individual to join our team as a Game Day Operations Leader. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth, professional, and exciting fan and player experience at home games throughout the season. Key Responsibilities:
● Help coordinate and execute fan engagement activities such as intermission contests, giveaways, and ceremonial puck drops
● Act as a liaison between staff, officials, and facility personnel on game days
● Maintain professionalism and contribute to a positive experience for fans, families, and players
● Support social media and content teams with behind-the-scenes or in-game content, as needed
● Optional: Write short articles for team website or social channels (preferred but not required)
Qualifications:
● Strong communication and organizational skills
● Ability to adapt quickly and remain composed in a live-event environment
● Comfortable taking initiative and solving problems on the fly
● A positive attitude and a team-first mentality
● Experience working in sports, events, or entertainment is an asset
● Bonus: Experience in journalism, content writing, or media is preferred but not required
Time Commitment:
● Must be available for all home games (nights and weekends required. Approx 27 Home Games)
● Approximately 4–6 hours per game day

The Ottawa Junior Senators are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Hockey Operations Staff. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the day-to-day operations of a high-level Junior A hockey team. You will work directly with the coaching and management staff to help ensure all team logistics and player support functions run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
● Support with stat tracking, roster updates, and player information management
● Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
● Additional duties as assigned by the Head Coach or General Manager
● Assist with player check-in and registration during camps, tryouts, and team events
● Become part of the scouting staff
Qualifications:
● Strong organizational and communication skills
● A dependable team player with a proactive mindset
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to manage time effectively and take initiative
● Previous experience in hockey or sports management is an asset but not required
● Must be available for most home games, practices, and team events (evenings and weekends)
● Must have a reliable means of transportation
Time Commitment:
● Flexible hours, with a focus on game days, practices, and special events
● Availability during weekends and evenings is essential
