RELEASE | OJS Broadcast Network and CKDJ 107.9 to call CCHL vs UMass Lowell

Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Jr. Senators along with the CCHL are proud to announce the exhibition game between the CCHL All-Star Selects and the UMass Lowell Riverhawks on December 29th, from Lowell, Massachusetts will be on the air on the Jr. Senators Broadcast Network and CKDJ 107.9 FM.

Mason Detre and Davide Disipio will have the call from the Tsongas Centre for a 4:45 pregame show, and a 5:00 puck drop for this once in a lifetime experience.

Detre, 23, is in his fifth season calling CCHL hockey, beginning back in 2015/16 season as a student with the Algonquin Radio Broadcasting program with the Nepean Raiders, before moving onto the CCHL2 Ottawa West Golden Knights and the Ottawa Jr. Senators. He also holds the position of CCHL2 Communications Manager, and formerly broadcasted the Can-Am Leagues Ottawa Champions.

Disipio, 19, is in his second full season calling the CCHL after filling in during the 2017/18 season. A current Algonquin Radio Broadcasting student, Disipio calls the Jr. Senators along with the Golden Knights, along with spot appearances with the Ottawa 67’s, North Bay Battalion, and Sudbury Wolves broadcasts in the OHL. This past summer, he broadcasted the Ottawa Champions alongside Mason. Beginning in January, he will begin an internship with sports radio TSN 1200.

For those who are not able to go to Lowell to take in the experience, the game will be broadcasted at mixlr.com/ojsradio and CKDJ 107.9 FM in the Ottawa area. UMass Lowell will have a simulcast of the game at CBS All Access on GoRiverHawks.com
