The Junior Senators crushed the Braves 5-1

The Ottawa Junior Senators' offense had a big night, peppering the Brockville Braves with 42 shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead late in the first on a goal from Nick Lalonde and never looked back.

Finn Evans contributed with 2 goals and Nick Lalonde chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Evans opened the scoring for Ottawa with a goal at 13:33 with helpers from Alexander and Lalonde. Lalonde quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 15:13 with assists from teammates Thomas and Walsh.

In the second period, Jefferson finally put Brockville on the board with a goal at 0:58. Veillette answered for the Junior Senators with a goal at 4:22 with a helper from his linemate Morin.

During the third, Evans scored a goal at 10:14 with an assist from Pion. Mcgregor deposited a goal at 18:43 with helpers from Blacksmith and Bisson.

Ottawa’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Hicks as he stopped 16 of the 17 shots he faced. Hicks’ counterpart, Evenson, also had a big night, managing to stop 37 of 41, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Ottawa Junior Senators’ record to (8-4-1-0).
