The Junior Senators defeat the Canadians 5-4

The Ottawa Junior Senators' offense had a big night, peppering the Carleton Place Canadians with 32 shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Griffin Mcgregor.

Owen Guy chipped in with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Gabriel Morin did his part, adding 2 assists. Zachary Tupker contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Samuel Knoblauch delivered for his team with 2 assists.

In the first, Thorne opened the scoring for the Canadians with a goal at 2:00 with helpers from teammates Knoblauch and Allison. Guy answered for the Junior Senators with a goal at 5:24 with helpers from Smart and Mccabe. Boulerice netted a goal at 15:27 with assists from Thomas and Walsh. Broughman answered for the Canadians with a goal at 19:03 with assists from his linemates, Cmunt and Kitt.

In the second, Daniels answered for Ottawa with a goal at 6:58 with helpers from Morin and Guy. Alexander quickly followed with a goal at 8:35 with assists from Anderson and Evans. Tupker answered for Carleton Place with a goal at 17:48 with helpers from Girduckis and Knoblauch.

During the third, Theocharidis scored a goal at 2:02 with assists from Tupker and Tupker. Mcgregor answered for Ottawa with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 12:12 with helpers from his linemates, Guy and Morin.

The Junior Senators’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Hicks as he stopped 21 of the 25 shots he faced. Hicks’ counterpart, Leach, also had a big night, managing to stop 27 of 32, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Ottawa Junior Senators’ record to (12-5-1-0).
