The Junior Senators fall to the Canadians 6-4

Mitchell Rukavina came up big, stopping 11 of 14 shots throughout the game. The Carleton Place Canadians took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Eastan Eckert.

Owen Cole did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Bailey Brant had a busy night with 2 assists. Andre Hromic contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Cole opened the scoring for Ottawa with a goal at 9:31 with a helper from fellow Junior Senators forward Freel. Lister answered for the Canadians with a goal at 12:37. Pion answered for Ottawa with a goal at 17:46 with helpers from Smart and Brant. Sterrett quickly followed with a goal at 18:00 with assists from his linemates, Hromic and Reynolds.

During the second period, Griffith scored a goal at 9:39. Rossides quickly followed with a goal at 10:18 with assists from teammates Cole and Turner.

In the third, Bolton answered for the Canadians with a goal at 1:43 with a helper from Marshall. Spencer quickly followed with a goal at 3:34 with assists from Boulerice and Brant. Eckert answered for Carleton Place with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:37. Hromic scored a goal at 19:58 with a helper from fellow Canadians forward Redmond.
