Francis Boisvert posted a shutout, stopping all 17 of the Navan Grads shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead early in the first on a goal from Ethan Manderville and never looked back.
Ethan Manderville did his part, adding 2 goals and Griffin Mcgregor had a busy night with 2 goals.
During the first period, Manderville opened the scoring for Ottawa with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 1:31 with helpers from his teammates Mccabe and Smart. Guy netted a goal at 15:08 with assists from Lalonde and Thomas.
In the second, Morin deposited a goal at 1:58 with helpers from Daniels and Walsh. Mcgregor put in a goal at 17:22 with assists from Brant and Smart. Mccabe quickly followed with a goal at 19:12 with helpers from Walsh and Pion.
During the third period, Manderville netted a goal at 0:16 with assists from Alexander and Brant. Lalonde scored a goal at 7:47 with helpers from Daniels and Salloum. Mcgregor put in a goal at 15:04 with an assist from Smart.
Ottawa’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Boisvert’s shutout, as he stopped all 17 of the shots he faced. Boisvert’s counterpart, Carter, also had a big night, managing to stop 42 of 50, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Ottawa Junior Senators’ record to (46-9-2-5).
