Trio of Jr. Senators named CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for October

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for October.

Simon Isabelle is the Player of the Month, William Desmarais is an honourable mention for Goaltender of the Month, while Braxton Ross is named an honourable mention for Rookie of the Month.

The 2001 born Whitehorse, YT native, and RIT commit led all skaters this past month with 23 points (9G, 14A) in 13 games of action, helping the Junior Senators to a CCHL best 11-2-0-0 record in that span. He had 8 multiple-point performances with two game-winning goals. Isabelle has only been held without a point once this season, and currently rides a six-game point streak (6G, 6A). He recently suited up for the CCHL All-Stars in their Exhibition game Vs the University of Ottawa.

Desmarias went 5-1 in the month of October with and on the season holds a 1.71 GAA and .941 SV%. The Sherbrooke native ranks second in the league in wins (6), SV%, and first in GAA.

Ross sits fifth in rookie scoring through his first month of junior hockey. The Kanata native has two multi-point games this season. Both his goals came in crucial spots in both Rockland and Carleton Place this past month, on route to a pair of Jr. Senators victories.
