William Desmarais named Week 16 CCM CCHL Player of the Week Honourable Mention

Ottawa, ON – The CCHL announced on Tuesday, the Week 16 CCM Player of the Week, with Jr. Senators goaltender William Desmarais being named an honourable mention for his performances.

The Sherbrooke native recorded three wins over Rockland last Wednesday, Kemptville on Friday, and Carleton Place on Sunday. Desmarais stopped 29 of 30 on Wednesday, 31 of 33 on Friday, then 15 of 16 on Sunday. The backstop has refound his groove after having a seven-game win streak snapped last Saturday. Desmarais leads the league in wins, goals against, save percentage, and is tied in shutouts.
