9 Jr. Senators selected to represent Yzerman Division at CCHL All-Star Game

 

Ottawa, ON- The CCHL has announced its rosters ahead of Monday’s All-Star Game at the Jim Durrell Recreation Complex.

The Jr. Senators will send a league-high nine members to the event, including Martin Dagenais who has been appointed the Head Coach of Team Yzerman Division that will face off against Jason Clarke (Carleton Place) and Team Robinson Division.

“It’s always a great opportunity for the players chosen to show what they can do when playing at a higher pace,” said Martin Dagenais. “For some players, this is a chance to prove that they deserve to be on the CCHL select team that will compete against NCAA-I UMass Lowell on December 29th in Massachusetts. For others, it’s an opportunity to show they deserve to be apart of Team Canada East for the upcoming World Junior A Challenge in Dawson Creek, BC December 7th through 15th. It will be a fun evening for everyone involved.”

Defenceman Faisal Alsaif (Williams College, NCAA-III), Tucker McIntosh (St. Lawrence, NCAA-I), Bailey Brant have been selected to Dagenais blue line for the festivities.

Upfront, David Bérubé, Ethan Mulhearn, Thomas Freel, and Owen Cole (UMass-Lowell. NCAA-I) are apart of Team Yzerman Division looking to catch the attention of their Head Coach to be selected for both teams later this season.

Along with Dagenais and the players, Head Equipment Manager Carmelo Pugliese has been named a member of the training staff for the All-Star Game.
