The Team
We have a proud tradition which includes five League Championships and two Fred Page Cup titles. The Ottawa Junior Senators Hockey Club is a member of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), one of the most heavily scouted leagues in all of North America. NCAA, U Sports, and CHL teams are all regularly in attendance and as a major metropolitan centre we are an easy-to-get-to destination.
The City
Ottawa, also referred to as our National Capital Region, is the fourth largest municipality in Canada with over 1.2 Million residents. The city offers our players easy access to a myriad of cultural and educational possibilities in a safe, picturesque, and friendly environment all conveniently served by OC Transpo and Light Rail.
The Schools
Looking for that “just right” combination of hockey and education? The Ottawa Junior Senators Hockey Club has several options available for you right at your doorstep and all within easy commuting distance to our home rink. Some of your options include: Carleton University, University of Ottawa, Algonquin College, Saint Paul University, La Cité Collégiale, and le Cégep de l’Outaouais.
The Community
A dedicated volunteer corps, supportive sponsors, a welcoming city, a myriad of possibilities both on and off the ice can be yours as a member of the Ottawa Junior Senators Hockey Club. The Ottawa Junior Senators are proud to be a strong sponsor and supporter of our local Food Bank, South End Minor Hockey Association, and a number of other community projects and events. As a member of the Ottawa Junior Senators you may be asked to occasionally participate in off and on ice events in support of these worthy causes.
Our Hockey
We are also home to the Ottawa Senators (NHL), the Ottawa 67’s (OHL) and the Gatineau Olympiques (QMJHL) – we really are Hockey Town!! If the pursuit of a post-secondary education culminated by the successful combination of hockey and education is in your plans, then the Ottawa Junior Senators Hockey Club is the place you want to be!!
