Freel, Guillemette named CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for November

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for November.

Thomas Freel is an honourable mention Player of the Month, while Xavier Guillemette is named an honourable mention for Rookie of the Month.

The OJS captain put up 12 goals and three assists in 10 games this past month. Freel was most recently named a Week 10 CCM Player of the Week Honourable Mention, where he tallied eight points (six goals, two assists) in three Jr. Senators’ games last week. Freel is now up to 16 goals and 15 assists in 23 games so far this season. He ranks fourth in the league in points and second in goals. He is riding a five-game goal streak and has 10 goals in his last 12.

Guillemette joined the Jr. Senators in late October in a trade with Navan, where he scored in his first junior game on October 27 against Rockland. The Ottawa native put up two goals and two assists in seven games this past month, including his first multi-goal performance this past Sunday.
