Jr. Senators fall to the Pembroke Lumber Kings in School Day tilt

Pembroke, ON – The Ottawa Jr. Senators dropped a 4-2 decision to the Pembroke Lumber Kings on Friday morning during the annual School Day game at the Pembroke Memorial Centre.

Cameron Hough opened the scoring for the Lumber Kings at the 18:44 mark of the 1st period with his 5th tally of the season, Brady Egan and Fletcher Anderson added the other goals for Pembroke in the win.

Conor Smart got Ottawa on the board on the PP at the 11:01 mark of the 2nd and Thomas Freel scored a beauty on a wraparound in the 3rd period for the Jr. Sens.

Lumber Kings Goaltender Reece Proulx was the star of this game as he stopped 31 of 33 shots that he faced, defeating Ottawa for the 2nd time this season.

The Jr. Senators are back in action Sunday afternoon in Navan, as they take on the Grads for the 4th time already this season, puck drop is at 3pm on mixlr.com/ojsradio and Hockey TV.
