The Ottawa Jr. Senators have completed a trade that sends forward, Eric Kane to the Oakville Blades of the Ontario Junior Hockey League in exchange for a player developemnt fee (PDF).
The 6’4″ 200lbs power forward spent two seasons with OJS and was an important part of last year’s run to the playoffs. Kane recorded 33 points while appearing in all 55 of the Jr Sens’ regular season games in the 2025-2026 season. He also served as a penalty kill specialist, being a key part of a league leading 91% efficient PK unit.
