The Junior Senators crushed the Braves 6-1

The Ottawa Junior Senators' offense had a big night, peppering the Brockville Braves with 35 shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Darcy Walsh and never looked back.

Gabriel Morin did his part, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Nick Lalonde chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Lalonde opened the scoring for Ottawa with a goal at 1:07 with a helper from Morin. Walsh put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:43 with helpers from his teammates Thomas and Evans.

In the second period, Gilmour finally put the Braves on the board with a goal at 7:15. Boulerice quickly followed with a goal at 8:12 with assists from his linemates, Walsh and Veillette. Morin deposited a goal at 12:45.

During the third, Mcgregor scored a goal at 10:46 with helpers from his linemates, Smart and Pion. Morin quickly followed with a goal at 12:08 with assists from his linemates, Lalonde and Guy.

Ottawa’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Hicks as he stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced. Hicks’ counterpart, Evenson, also had a big night, managing to stop 29 of 35, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Ottawa Junior Senators’ record to (5-2-0-0).
