The Junior Senators crushed the Grads 5-1

The Ottawa Junior Senators' offense had a big night, peppering the Navan Grads with 58 shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead late in the second on a goal from Michael Thomas.

Nick Lalonde delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Owen Guy contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Murray opened the scoring for Navan with a goal at 4:09 with a helper from fellow Grads forward Chartrand.

In the second period, Walsh finally put Ottawa on the board with a goal at 13:06 with helpers from his linemates, Mcgregor and Evans. Thomas deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 18:37 with assists from his teammates Pion and Salloum.

In the third, Lalonde netted a goal at 0:22 with helpers from his linemates, Guy and Walsh. Boulerice put in a goal at 11:13 with assists from Morin and Salloum. Guy quickly followed with a goal at 11:31 with helpers from Lalonde and Salloum.

Ottawa’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Hicks as he stopped 10 of the 11 shots he faced. Hicks’ counterpart, Giacobbo, also had a big night, managing to stop 53 of 58, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Ottawa Junior Senators’ record to (45-8-2-5).
