The Junior Senators crushed the Lumber Kings 6-1

The Ottawa Junior Senators' offense had a big night, peppering the Pembroke Lumber Kings with 34 shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead late in the first on a goal from Owen Guy and never looked back.

Owen Guy delivered for his team with 2 goals and Pierre-Luc Veillette contributed with 2 goals.

In the first, Veillette opened the scoring for Ottawa with a goal at 11:02. Guy put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:04 with assists from Daniels and Mcgregor.

In the second, Vroman finally put Pembroke on the board with a goal at 6:54.

In the third period, Guy answered for the Junior Senators with a goal at 0:30 with a helper from Blacksmith. Veillette quickly followed with a goal at 0:43 with assists from teammates Mccabe and Pion. Bisson netted a goal at 13:47 with a helper from Lalonde. Walsh deposited a goal at 18:33 with assists from Pion and Mccabe.

Ottawa’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Hicks as he stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced. Hicks’ counterpart, Smith, also had a big night, managing to stop 28 of 34, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Ottawa Junior Senators’ record to (4-2-0-0).
