Ottawa, ON – The CCHL announced on Tuesday, the Week 13 CCM Player of the Week, with Jr. Senators goaltender William Desmarais being named an honourable mention for his performances.
The Sherbrooke native recorded a pair of wins over Hawkesbury last Wednesday and Renfrew on Saturday. Desmarais stopped 26 of 28 on Wednesday, then 31 of 32 on Saturday. The backstop has now won five of his last six starts and leads the league in wins, goals against, save percentage, and is tied in shutouts.
