Commitment Alert | Jr Senators Adrien Bisson commits to University of Maine

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Ottawa Jr Senators are pleased to announce that defenseman Adrien Bisson has committed to NCAA University of Maine for the 2019-20 season.

The 1999 born Cornwall, ON native is in his third season with the Jr Senators where he posted a career best 28 points (7G, 21A) in 51 games of action, helping Ottawa to a second place regular season finish and berth in the Bogart Cup finals. In 189 career regular season and playoff games, Bisson has totaled 78 points (17G, 63A).

“I have had nothing but positives throughout my time in the CCHL and the OJS program,” said Bisson. “I would like to thank everyone who made this dream come to a reality for me and I am so excited to begin the next chapter of my hockey career with the University of Maine.”

“As an organization, we could not be more happy for Adrien,” said Jr Senators Head Coach and General Manager Martin Dagenais. “Through hard work and dedication, he has become one of the leagues top defensemen. What people don’t know about Adrien is that he is also an exceptional young man who always puts the team first and has been a tremendous leader on the back-end for us during his time here. We are confident that he will continue to have success as the NCAA level.”

Prior to his time in the CCHL, Bisson played with both the Eastern Ontario Wild and Ottawa Jr Senators AAA Minor Hockey programs.
