Ottawa, ON – The three-time defending CCHL champion Ottawa Jr. Senators are proud to announce the signing of forward Antoine Gauthier.
The local product skated in 32 games a season ago with the OJS u18 squad under Steve Malette. Gauthier tallied six goals and 21 helpers for 27 points in his lone season at the u18 level.
A thirteenth-round pick by the Kingston Frontenacs in this past spring’s OHL Priority Selection, Gauthier is a graduate of the Ottawa Jr. 67’s AAA program.
Gauthier becomes the fourth graduate of the u18 team to join the Jr. Senators for this season.
The Jr. Senators continue their title defence tomorrow at the Carleton Place Arena against the upstart Carleton Place Canadians.
