Ottawa defeats Nepean 11-3 at annual game in Casselman

The Ottawa Jr. Senators (12-6) extended their winning streak to seven games after a 11-3 win over the Nepean Raiders (6-11-1) inside the Jr Brisson Complex in Casselman on Thursday night.

Walsh extended his point streak to 10 games with two goals and Cole extended his streak to eight games after two assists.

Kyle Jackson scored two goals and an assist for the 16-year-olds first three-point game of his career.

Marshall also got the monkey off his back after scoring his first two goals in Tier 1. Smart, Manderville and Belanger each collected 1G / 1A. Elie Boulerice tallied two goals, one assist in front of friends and family in Casselman.

Jr. Sens outshot Nepean 52-12 in the game. It sets a new season high for most goals in a game, largest margin victory at eight goals and the least amount of shots allowed in a game. The last time was against Cornwall when Ottawa allowed 14 shots in a 5-1 victory back on Oct 3rd.
