The Junior Senators defeat the Canadians 2-1

Connor Hicks came up big, stopping 42 of 43 shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead late in the second on a goal from Owen Guy.

In the second period, Reynolds opened the scoring for Carleton Place with a goal at 8:40 with assists from his linemates, Knoblauch and Pryce. Daniels quickly followed with a goal at 9:33 with a helper from Boulerice. Guy deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 15:36 with an assist from his teammate Lalonde.

Ottawa’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Hicks’ big night as he stopped 42 of the 43 shots he faced. On the other hand, Hicks’ counterpart, Leach, and Carleton Place’s defense did not have such a great night allowing 2 goals in 24 shots.

This win brings the Ottawa Junior Senators’ record to (9-4-1-0).
