The Junior Senators defeat the Colts 3-1

The Ottawa Junior Senators' offense had a big night, peppering the Cornwall Colts with 30 shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead late in the second on a goal from Joe Alexander.

Elie Boulerice chipped in with 2 goals.

During the first period, Pogue opened the scoring for Cornwall with a goal at 6:03 with assists from his linemates, Hebert and Maccormick.

In the second, Boulerice finally put Ottawa on the board with a goal at 14:50 with helpers from Evans and Daniels. Alexander quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 16:06.

During the third period, Boulerice deposited a goal at 19:02.

The Junior Senators’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Boisvert as he stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced. Boisvert’s counterpart, Lascelle, also had a big night, managing to stop 27 of 29, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Ottawa Junior Senators’ record to (44-7-1-5).
